  10. I'm having a strange problem with my Infotel V.34 Fax/Modem.

  12. It happens *always* when I'm at the *answering* end and somtimes on the
  13. originating end of an asynchronous connection with a 14.4k modem.  The
  14. modems will connect with no problems, but then abrubtly hang up after
  15. 20-30 seconds.  I've had this happen with more than one remote modem.

  17. I use this connection mode when playing the game Rise of the Triad in
  18. multiplayer mode, but I'm convinced it's not the game's fault, because the
  19. modems disconnect while still in chat mode before the game even loads...

  23. AT &F0  (Recall factory profile)
  24. &Q0    (Direct Asynchronous Mode)
  25. &K0    (Disables flow control)
  26. &D2    (DTR Setting)
  27. %C0    (Disables data compression, not sure if I even need this one since
  28.          &Q0 is set )
  29. and I've tried these also
  30. S37 = 11  (Connect at 14400 v.32 mode) used when trying to conn. at 14400
  31. S37 = 9   (Connect at 9600 baud mode ) used when trying to conn. at 9600
  32.  or no s37 parameter...
